Joe, a graduate of Rhodes College in Memphis, in 1986, started work in the corporate security field, where he was first introduced to risk management. His insurance career began in 1989 with Chubb Group of Insurance Companies, as an underwriting trainee. He held underwriting and management roles in various disciplines including General Commercial, Energy, Marine and International. Joe joined the Menard, Gates & Mathis Insurance Agency in 1999, and subsequently is one of the founding partners of Insight Risk Management. Joe has been a Certified Insurance Counselor since 1993, an officer of the Insurors of Memphis, and has participated in several insurance company advisory boards. While Joe has some responsibility for the management of day-to-day operations of Insight, he remains active in servicing his current clients, as well as actively onboarding new customers.
