Lanny graduated with a B.S. in Business Administration from the University of Tennessee Martin in 1993. His career in insurance started with Travelers in the Claims Department as a Workers’ Comp Claims Adjuster and Claim Account Executive. He joined McDonnell Insurance in 1997 and has a diverse book of business, but his focus industries are manufacturers and the healthcare industry. Lanny received the Certified Insurance Counselor (CIC) designation in 2004. He attends Bellevue Baptist Church and is a member of the Board of Trustees for Evangelical Christian School.
