Scott is from Decatur, Alabama, a Brewer High School graduate. Scott received his Bachelor of Arts Degree from the University of Memphis. After graduating from UofM, Scott worked as the Customer Service Supervisor and Sales Support Rep for Varsity Spirit Fashion before moving into the Special Events Department. Scott spent the next several years as a top earner as the Regional Rep for the Mid-West.

Scott married his wife, Erica, in 2014 and welcomed their son, Tyler, in 2019. They attend Holy Rosary Catholic Church and are active Tigers Alumni. In his free time, Scott enjoys playing golf, following local Memphis sports, and spending time with his family.
